High efficiency low power DC to DC converters for battery powered portable applications RWTH IAS

Power IC such as step up/down DC to DC converters are widely used in cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and other portable electronic devices. Many SoCs comprising analog/mixed signal and digital functionality require independent voltage level, as supply voltage. A regulated supply voltage with low variation can also enhance system performance. Especially for wireless devices a regulated, ripple-less supply voltage can improve the communication quality. This project focus is design and implementation of low power DC to DC converter with high efficiency, low noise and high system stability.
